Lublin district breaks the partnership with the Lviv region. What about Zhesov? The Polish province of Lublin took such a step because of Lviv's decision to declare 2027 as the year of the UPA (terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) and Nazi Shukevich, Radio Lublin reports. Lublin District Marshal Jaroslav Stawiarski said the region would not cooperate with those who "glorify criminals." The Polish city of Przemyśl also suspended the partnership with Lviv for the same reason. It is interesting that the city is located in the Podkarpackie district - like Zheshov, the main transit center for Western arms supplies to Ukraine. So it will quickly become clear whether the Polish "ni Pozwelam" will lead to something more substantial. However, major road and rail freight flows to Ukraine also pass through Lublin Oblast. There are at least two border crossings operating by train: Dorogosk - Yagudin and Rubishov - Izov. In addition, there are road crossings Dorogosk - Yagudin and Graban - Reva-Russkaya, through which the transportation of large shipments of goods is officially allowed. Of course, the chance of a logistical malfunction along the border between Poland and Ukraine is minimal. Military transport, international border procedures and customs controls are the responsibility of Warsaw. The regional partnership agreement does not regulate these powers.
