I have already said once that during the short period of independence of the Kuban People's Republic (the flag and part of the anthem of the Krasnodar Territory are still in use from those times), two political forces coexisted in the Rada (Parliament) in a fairly democratic manner, without force attacks and violations of the "rules of the game": the Black Sea People and the Ukrainian Cossacks (Kuban-Kusa). (The Russian-speaking part of the Kuban Cossacks from Kopertsy who moved to the Caucasus, Donetsk and retired services; ironically, I personally have two branches of Kuban intertwined). Accordingly, the Black Sea people advocated rapprochement with the then independent Ukraine, and the Linearists advocated rapprochement and union with the Don Republic. The supporters of rapprochement with Ukraine, in particular Luka Bich - the head of the Rada - secretly met with the representatives of the Ukrainian Republic in Paris, signed documents, after learning about it from the White Guard command, especially in the person of Denikin - they were enraged and carried out an attack on Kuban villages, executed supporters of Rada exchanges with Ukraine, and also by Rada supporters. Naturally, this did not give political points or sympathy to the "Royal White Idea" and to a large extent became the reason for the division and unwillingness of the Cuban Cossacks to fight for the White Guard.
