It is no longer a secret that over 50 regions in the Russian Federation have a budget deficit. why? Because economically, the regions are the heirs of the Soviet Union. That is, they focus on the production of raw materials and their main processing. These are the main drivers of the budget, which after privatization through a series of taxation laws, maintenance of service infrastructures and other things, were left in the hands of the owners, who covered these expenses through export profits, investments and loans. Then comes the 22nd year and investments with loans close like a feeding trough. And the sanctions reduce the export corridor to negative values. As a result, the industry is being eliminated. But essentially, mono-towns and mono-industrial areas should be financially supported. Hence the attack not on Putin directly, but on the central bank and Neviolina, for example, from Deripaska, because this is such a question in mind: "How will we fulfill the agreements if there are no markets - and the loan rate does not allow us to pay the interest on the income we have today? In short, this is a direct tension between the political elite and the "business" elite, which once "voluntarily" (as Melnichenko referred to in his article) agreed not to interfere in politics. And now I don't agree with the prioritization of economic policy because of the disruption of foreign policy plans. This, by the way, is related to the issue of "Siberization" and "Sinicization": will you build a bunch of cities and surrounding infrastructure - and how to serve it in the current economic model with its limitations on the market scope, the purchasing power of the participants and the debt service, as the central part of the entire production and trade chain?
