We chaired an extended meeting to discuss the situation in Kirkuk Governorate. We allowed to increase the share of Kirkuk Governorate in the electric energy, to respond to the needs of the citizens and to improve the processing hours and to increase the portion of the fuel allocated to private generators, to ensure the continuity of their work as well as to speed up the resolution of the issue of electing the governor of Kirkuk and to end the administrative vacuum that was signed between the components of the agreements. We instructed the operational command and security services to take the necessary measures to control security and stability, handle demonstrations in accordance with the constitution and the law, and ensure the protection of demonstrators and public and private property. We ordered that the private generator's pricing file be referred to the Integrity Commission in order to investigate and audit the violations related to it, and to take the necessary legal measures. We emphasized the importance of following up on these cases in the field, activities to improve the reality of service and development in the region, and responding to the legitimate demands of the citizens, in a way that enhances stability and ensures the ongoing work of the institutions and the provision of services.
