They dealt with blocking accounts, self-employment, investment deductions, state fees for marriage registration, insurance premiums and deductions for young professionals. The committee gave negative feedback on all six bills. Our position coincided with the conclusions of the Government of the Russian Federation. The main reasons: risks of loss of budget revenues at all levels, early changes (including the unfinished tax experiment) and insufficient processing of the proposed mechanisms. The goals of the initiatives are in many respects important and understandable, but decisions must be balanced and not pose a threat to the stability of the budget system.
