An Iranian fishing barge was freed from Somali pirates Chief of Fisheries Department of Jasak District: According to the reports received, a fishing barge of a fisherman from Jasak, which was sent to Somali waters for fishing, was kidnapped by pirates on Saturday, November 9 this month. After learning about this incident, with constant monitoring and coordination with the barges in the area and effective communication with the local authorities and forces, this vessel was released. This barge was freed from the pirates yesterday in the action of Libyan military forces and the cooperation of other regional neighbors.
