The Supreme Judge of Tehran District: Delaying proceedings and violating people's rights is unacceptable.
The Chief Justice of Tehran District, while emphasizing the necessity of focused management and continuous monitoring of cases with multiple plaintiffs, emphasized the identification of barriers and bottlenecks in the proceedings, the use of special abilities and the acceleration of the hearing process and the determination of legal obligations in these cases, and demanded adequate treatment of any legal negligence. According to the Khabarpuri channel, Nasser Atabati, Chief Judge of the Tehran District, examined the various aspects of these cases, the existing barriers and the ways of handling them at a special consultation meeting to examine and monitor the handling of multiple complaint cases, which was held in the presence of senior judicial officers and heads of branches. Pointing out the sensitivity and importance of cases with multiple plaintiffs and the legal, economic and social effects arising from them, Attavi noted: these cases require special attention and continuous monitoring due to the large number of litigants and the direct connection with the rights of a large number of citizens. Any unjustified delay in the treatment process and determination of their obligations may lead to a violation of individual rights, increasing public dissatisfaction and creating challenges to social peace.
The Chief Justice of the Tehran District emphasized the necessity of taking a different approach from the usual management of cases in this area and stated: it is necessary to provide a basis for speeding up the proceedings by accurately identifying the barriers and bottlenecks in the proceedings, investigating the causes of delaying proceedings and making optimal use of the existing capabilities. The management of these cases should be in such a way that no obstacle that can be removed will cause the proceedings to be unnecessarily prolonged and the rights of the people to be delayed. Emphasizing the responsibility of legal administrators in monitoring the handling of these cases, he added: there is a need for ongoing surveillance and monitoring of the status of multi-litigation cases through monitoring tools, systems and administrative dashboards, in order to identify obstacles in time and take the necessary measures to solve problems and prevent an abnormal accumulation of cases.
