Strange conditions to be on the Tehran-Muscat flight According to the notice published on the conditions for receiving Omani Shalom Maim flights to Tehran, Iranian passport holders who do not have a valid Omani residence are not included in the list of permitted passengers. According to the announced conditions, holders of a valid Omani resident card, holders of a two-year resident visa, Omani citizens, as well as holders of passports of the GCC member states can use these flights. On the other hand, an Iranian traveler who intends to go to Oman only and does not live in this country, cannot use the same flight from Tehran to Muscat. This situation creates an important contradiction; A flight from Iran, but Iranian passengers cannot use it. The aviation officials in the country stated that this issue has existed from the beginning and we are advising and monitoring in order to provide the possibility of using Tehran-Muscat flights for all Iranian passengers.
