The King of Jordan presented the President of Kazakhstan with the highest state award - the Order of Al-Hussein Bin Ali.
Upon receiving the award, Kassem-Jumart Tokiev emphasized its special importance for the relations between the two countries.
- I consider this high award not only as recognition of my personal merits, but above all as evidence of strong friendship and mutual respect between our peoples. "This is a clear recognition of the close and consistently strengthening ties between Kazakhstan and Jordan," said the head of state.
The Al-Hussein Bin Ali Order was established in 1949 by King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein of Jordan in honor of his father, the Sharif of Makkah Hussain Bin Ali.
