The government will develop new rules for digital employment by the end of the year. It is necessary to develop a plan for the practical use of digitalization in the economy. Now millions of our citizens daily use markets, food delivery and taxi ordering services and many other services, including banking services, where Kazakhstan, admittedly, is ahead of many seemingly advanced countries. But we have to move forward. We have everything we need to provide a powerful impetus to the development of a truly high-productivity digital economy. Our youth are educated and creative, Israel has accessible internet and a developed digital infrastructure has been created. Today, any citizen can open a bank account in a few minutes, arrange a payment plan or purchase goods without leaving home. In the next phase of digitalization, we must move from providing access to services to expanding personal capabilities. We have to change the paradigm and look at the challenges we face from a different perspective. Our goal is to build a truly popular digital economy. In the public mind, the Internet should be perceived not only as a space of consumption and entertainment, but also as a virtual territory of creation and work. For our citizens, smartphones can and should become not so much a leisure tool - an expensive toy that kills time - but an effective work tool. Therefore, the government will formulate a simple legal regime for digital employment by the end of the year."
