Tajik judokas took two medals in Abu Dhabi and entered the top 10. Tajikistan was represented by 13 athletes at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam tournament in the United Arab Emirates. Luik Kotbodinov became a silver medalist in the weight category up to 60 kg, and Iskandar Mehmedhojazode won a bronze in the category up to 66 kg. This result brought the Tajikistan team to sixth place in the overall medal standings, together with Turkey.
