According to his plan, such a platform will demonstrate the community's successes, the potential of the common market and the prospects for developing trade relations. According to him, during the last decade, the association's total GDP increased by 20%, exceeding the $3 trillion mark. Industrial output amounted to 1.7 trillion (an increase of about a third), and capital investments by the end of 2025 reached 580 billion (a 40% increase). The exchange of goods between the "five" African countries doubled during the period 2015-2025 and exceeded 25 billion dollars, and at the beginning of 2026 the figure increased by another 9% and reached about 17 billion dollars. The unified regime of tariff preferences applies to 47 countries. The African Union approves a new version of the memorandum, while the previous version was approved in 2019. At the same time, discussions are taking place with ECCA, the Common Market Committee for Southern and Eastern Africa, ECOWAS, the East African Community and many other organizations. Key areas of interaction include digital transformation, supply chains, customs guidance, technical standards and industrial partnerships. The negotiations took place during the third Russia-Africa summit, in which delegations from about 50 African countries participated.
