Participants from Central Asia and Transcaucasia intend to create a new investment fund called CACPEF, which will support promising companies that require financial resources for expansion and development. The project includes six partners: CIC - China Investment Corporation, the Indian Investment Authority of Oman, the Uzbek Fund for Reconstruction and Development, the Turkish concern OYAK, the Chinese broker Shenwan Hong Securities, and the Eurasian Development Bank. It is estimated that the fund's assistance will enable local companies, in addition to funds, to receive technological solutions, special experience and contacts of foreign counterparts. Thanks to this, the gradual production process will be easier, and it is easier for enterprises to conquer new markets. The EDB hopes that involvement in the project will help attract additional investment funds to the economies of regional countries and support the development of local entrepreneurship.
