Construction of four cotton processing plants completed in Turkestan region of Kazakhstan Turkestan region commissioned two new cotton processing plants in Otyar district. These objects became part of the cotton-textile cluster, which combines all the stages - from the cultivation of raw materials to the production of finished textile products. At the Turan Special Economic Zone site, which covers 76.2 dunams, there are four production complexes with a total value of 17.129 billion tenge. Their annual capacity is designed to process 320 thousand tons of raw cotton to produce 110 thousand tons of fiber. Factories use Chinese technical solutions. According to local authority statistics, there are over 100 permanent vacancies.
