Manners with the neighbors How to deal with an unpleasant neighbor The Holy Prophet saw in one of the ominous cases of the house a bad neighbor, and in another saying, he presented Shaqut as a bad neighbor. (1) And Imam Sadiq (a. Q.) Considers one of the three things that make a person's life dark as a bad neighbor. (2) The important words of Hazrat Ali (pbuh) in this regard are: For evil is the greatest loss and the most difficult trouble. Luqman Hakim says: I did indeed carry a large stone, but I did not carry a heavier load than the bad neighbor. Regarding spending time with an evil neighbor, it is said that he is like a blacksmith's furnace that if its flame does not burn the person, its bad smell hurts the person or its smoke hurts. The Prophet (God) presented three things that break your back: a strong man who does not thank you if you do him good, but if you do bad things, he will never be content to forgive you, since his eyes are watching over you and his heart is counting the minutes waiting for your death. If he sees good behavior and good action from you, he covers it up and does not inform anyone about it, but as soon as you do something bad, he exposes it. A woman who, if you are with her, will not provide you with peace and happiness and will not make you happy, and if you want to leave her, you do not trust her. Misbehavior with neighbors, in addition to bringing unfortunate results in the worldly life, causes the prevention of God's mercy in the Eternal House, because the seal of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: God will not see two people as mercy on the Day of Judgment; the one who cuts off relations with his relatives and the one who misbehaves with his neighbors. Staying away from bothering neighbors is a sign of Hasidism and God-fearing, and according to Ahl al-Bayt Asmat and Tahart (pbuh) he is not a true Shia if his neighbor is not immune from evil, and also from the point of view of those fervent Purozans, a true believer is one whose neighbors are not both by his side. (8) Ezrat Ali (a. Q.) The recommendation: be a neighbor with someone who you will be safe from and whose good includes you; And this is also one of the commandments of the same Imam who said: He who considers his neighbors as easy and humiliates them will never reach the top of honor.
