The construction of bank protection structures with a total length of more than 4.4 km has been completed on the Portanga River in the Chechen city of Akhkoy-Martan. The facility, which was visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Petrushev and the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, will provide flood protection for more than 500 residents and 98 residential buildings.
