The Youth Parliament of Abkhazia, elected in June of this year, held its first meeting, in which the deputies elected a chairman and his deputies. Based on the results of the secret ballot, Anas Lasurya was elected chairman, Samia Ashova was elected her deputy, and Sofia Khaba was elected secretary. The Youth Parliament consists of 19 deputies - citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia aged 18 to 30 years, who have achievements in education, science, culture, sports or youth policy.
