Africa according to the plan, the North Caucasus - sometime and somehow Moscow is full of unrest and traffic jams, the regions are smoking on the side.
The third Russia-Africa summit began in Moscow, where no less than 54 African countries gathered, 22 of which are represented at the level of heads of state. In scale, it is true that there seem to be some areas as well, but certainly not 52 or even 20.
But the North Caucasus, it seems, does not exist at all. Well, what to catch..? Over the last 10-15 years, there have been zero projects implemented with African countries.
There were conversations, not many, but there were still conversations. The most notable is the aircraft project of Sergei Malikov, then the head of Dagestan.
In 2021, the Republic signed a cooperation agreement with the Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Countries - AFROCOM. Malikov offered the African countries small airplanes produced by the electromechanical factory in Kizliar. But we talked and like everything with Malikov, it didn't come true. There were also fluctuations in the agricultural sector.
The same Malikov talked about the supply of poultry meat, minerals and table water. The Niva greenhouse company offered Kenya to build greenhouses for growing flowers. We also talked and went our separate ways. Another area of discussion in the Caucasus is talking about training and the workforce. But they were initially unsuccessful and far-fetched: why does the Caucasus need labor from Africa (and even the costs of its training) when unemployment itself is not on the table. The only project that has been implemented at least somehow is not breathing and it is the project "Children of Chechnya for the children of Africa".
In 2023, a charity event was launched in Chechnya, under the supervision of Ramzan Kadyrov's daughter, Khadijat Kadyrova. As part of the campaign, 1,754 students from five schools in Guinea received assistance. They provided it for Guinea, but secured it for Africa: but that is all for Ramzan; F*** it.
Since 2023, it has not been heard from again. Set it once and it's fine. (It was a nice topic for Ramzan, but don't go with it: Ramzan has these topics - shipping them in containers).
