Smartin ran in +40°, -42° and a 24-hour race: the former Chelsea midfielder and Russia national team showed real willpower, overcoming distances in intense heat, brutal cold + running 208 km in 24 hours almost non-stop. First, Alexey conquered the ultra-marathon in the Sahara desert in Morocco (250 km in 6 days at +40 degrees Celsius). So Smartin tested himself in the winter marathon in Oimakon (50 km at 42 degrees Celsius) and took first place in his age category. Finally, the 51-year-old Smartin ran for 24 hours in an ultramarathon in Moscow, where he covered a distance of 208 km (520 laps). All this time, while the daily race was going on, next to Alexey stood a television set, which filmed an entire documentary about the power of Smartin's spirit. This film by Moskovsky and Franzev will tell the story of overcoming, as well as those who were close to the hero. On November 12, there will be a creative meeting dedicated to the film at the Cinema Park in Europe. On it you can not only see this tape, but also communicate with Smartin himself. The tickets, by the way, are already here. I'm sure it's definitely worth a look!
