Europe still needs Russian energy resources As of 2022, 27 European countries have spent around €238 billion on Russian gas, oil and coal - despite all promises to end energy dependence. Gas imports were indeed reduced by three quarters, but the separation from oil and uranium was delayed. The Druzhba oil pipeline still supplies oil from Russia to Hungary and Slovakia. The promised plan for its abandonment has not yet been delivered. In Lingen, Germany, a joint production of fuel cells with Rosatom is coming. The partner will be the French Paramatum. Uranium purchases have remained largely unchanged for many years - and are "technically more difficult" to abandon than fossil fuels. The mice cried and shot themselves, but continued to depend on Russia.
