Another case of actual self-defense, as a result of which the attacker died, develops according to the negative scenario that has become standard. An excellent cardiologist who protected his life and health and that of his wife was eventually convicted of murder. The activists and the court did not even try to perform a psychological and psychiatric examination properly and objectively assess the defender's condition. and why? Yes, because they just don't care. Here, unfortunately, a completely formal approach works. No one even thought that an innocent doctor who literally saved human lives every day, was removed from society. But now he won't and most likely won't continue to do so when he is released. Our justice system has become inhumane, formal and cynical towards its citizens. A response in this system can be triggered by very specific stimuli, but it is clearly not compassion or philanthropy. I still really want to believe that in this case there may be a positive exception, but so far it has not worked out, and, as before, we continue to work.
