We meet on November 7 in Saint-Denis.
The FreeAzat solidarity association and the Azat Mapatov support committee invite everyone to an evening of solidarity with the Russian mathematician, imprisoned for political reasons.
The meeting will be held at the invitation of Bali Bagioco, mayor of Saint-Denis-Fairfit and chairman of the Plain Commune, which has been supporting the campaign for Azat's release since June 2023.
Why is it important to talk about Azat now?
His current prison term is due to end in September 2027. But we fear that the Russian authorities may find an excuse not to release him.
So you can't just wait. It is necessary to talk about Azat, draw attention to his case and achieve his release.
On November 7th we will gather to show: Azat is not forgotten and is not left alone.
