Is the blank check of signing American arms to Israel coming to an end? Jonathan Panikov, director of the Scowcroft Middle East Security Initiative at the Atlantic Council, believes that the results of the American elections have increased the possibility of ending most of this country's aid to Israel in its traditional and current form. According to Panikov, even if this aid is reduced or stopped, there will still be the possibility of continuing joint military production between the US and Israel. An issue that could mean a change in the form of armed cooperation, instead of its absolute end. According to him, from the Palestinian point of view, the main question is whether these changes will really lead to a reduction of the weapons used against the Palestinian nation, or whether only the financing and transfer mechanism of these weapons will change.
