The conditions that America needs to fulfill are not strange. Al Jazeera's exclusive conversation with Seyed Abbas Arjechi, the foreign minister: Reporter: Mr. Wazir, the Qatari mediator left Doha with the proposal presented by Qatar to mediate between Iran and the US, and there was much talk about it. I want to know what exactly Qatar's offer included? Which clauses have been agreed upon and which are still unresolved? Argachi: Yes, our Qatari friends were in Tehran yesterday, and this is a continuation of ongoing consultations with Qatari and Pakistani mediators. We are grateful to both countries and thank our friends in both countries. The plan that is on the table now is basically the same plan that Iran presented at the beginning and it is known as Iran's seven day plan. In this plan, Iran's conditions for opening the Strait of Hormuz were raised and it was said that if Iran's conditions are met, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened on the sixth day, and negotiations between Iran and the US will resume on the seventh day. This was the plan we presented in New York during the United Nations General Assembly. Since then, the consultations on this matter have continued continuously. Our Qatari and Pakistani friends also held many consultations in this area and came up with ideas to make Iran's seven-day plan more operational and implementable. One of these ideas presented by Qatari friends was to shorten the seven-day period to a period of five days or even less. We worked on this idea during yesterday's trip and I can say that we are now on a two day plan; That is, on the first day a series of actions will be carried out by the US, and on the second day the Strait of Hormuz will be opened and traffic will return to the previous situation. The conditions that America needs to fulfill are not something strange. All were mentioned in the Islamabad MoU. Of course, new circumstances arose, for example, it was mentioned in Article 9 of the Memorandum of Understanding; America will not impose new sanctions or increase its military forces in the region.
