Turning this opportunity into sustainable cooperation requires agreeing on principles, building trust, mutual respect for state sovereignty, and practical commitments. From the perspective of the Islamic Republic of Iran, sustainable security must be ensured with the participation of regional countries and without the military presence and intervention of extra-regional powers. This approach is based on the responsibility of the countries of the region in determining their own destiny. Dealing with the evils and aggression of Israel is also within this framework, a fundamental necessity to protect the independence and sovereignty of countries and to prevent the spread of war.
