Israeli professor: years are not enough to erase the traces of the Gaza war; Israel's image will no longer be the same.

Yoram Perry, professor emeritus at the University of Maryland in the United States and founder of the Herzog Institute for Media, Society and Politics at Tel Aviv University, wrote in an article on the Hebrew website "Times of Israel" that Israeli society does not properly understand the dimensions of the growing global anger and the changes that have occurred in political and social attitudes towards Israel in the last three years, due to immersion in internal political conflicts. Perry emphasized that even a short visit to a European city like London is enough to see the impact of the Gaza war on public opinion. According to him, the consequences of the war are no longer limited to the official positions of governments and can be seen in politics, the media, universities, cultural institutions and sports events throughout Europe. The Israeli professor pointed to the widespread publication of books and works related to the war and Palestinian suffering, including titles such as "Requiem for Gaza", "Genocide in Gaza", "The Palestinians can be ignored" and "The World after Gaza", and emphasized that these works show the extent of global attention to what happened in the Gaza Strip, in contrast to the limited discussion of these developments in Israeli society.
