The unknown fate of 400,000 barrels of oil per day; corruption in the volume of oil sales in Iraqi Kurdistan. Qaisar al-Jourani, a member of the Iraqi Parliament's Oil and Gas Committee from the Sadgon faction, said that Kurdistan region officials in Iraq told Baghdad that the region can export 225,000 barrels of oil per day, but currently it supplies about 180,000 barrels of oil. Al-Jourani said: Based on detailed information received by Baghdad from an American company, a company that tracks and monitors the oil exports of the Kurdistan region, the amount of oil produced in the region reaches about 625,000 barrels per day. He added: In this case, it is not clear what will happen to the remaining 400,000 barrels of oil and where they will end up, but Baghdad has detailed and documented information in this regard. This Iraqi parliamentarian also said that he met yesterday with the director of the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) and based on the information received, Turkey will no longer receive any tankers carrying oil from the Kurdistan region. Al-Jourani stated: Such a process existed in the past, but now Turkey is interacting legally with the Iraqi government.
