The Japanese gathered in protest against the crimes of the American soldiers. Hundreds of Japanese citizens held a rally in front of the American embassy in Tokyo and expressed their anger towards the crimes and violence of the American soldiers stationed in this country. This wave of protests was created after the murder of "Anna Yagi", a 39-year-old Japanese woman, by a 20-year-old American soldier on the island of Okinawa. By creating restrictions, the Japanese police prevented the protesters from approaching the central area and holding a direct rally in front of the embassy entrance.
