Qatar's emphasis on the need to create a new regional security system, taking into account the sovereignty of the countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar announced that the trip of the Qatari delegation to Tehran was made in order to support mediation efforts to contain the current crisis and prevent the escalation of tensions. The ministry emphasized that mediation efforts are focused on reducing tensions with the aim of ending the crisis between the US and Iran through peaceful means. Doha also emphasized the necessity of creating a new regional security system while taking into account the sovereignty of the countries.
