Trump wants to move the location of the media in the White House US President Donald Trump has approved the transfer of White House reporters and members of the media from the current historic location. In a post on the social network Emet Social, he wrote: I do not want to build a swimming pool in the newsroom of the White House, and I have no intention of doing so. I'm thinking of moving this room and moving it somewhere else. I will use this much needed space. The approval came after the New York Times reported that Trump told his advisers he wanted to reuse an indoor swimming pool built in 1993 during Franklin Roosevelt's presidency. This pool was covered during the presidency of Richard Nixon and became a space for holding press meetings.
