Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesman: Efforts to build a bridge between the two sides of the crisis, the United States and Iran, are still ongoing. Washington and Tehran are examining the proposals presented as solutions to reach an agreement between the two countries. There is a very high level of coordination between the leaders of the countries in the region to find a solution to the crisis and avoid the severe consequences of an escalation in tensions. We are working closely with our partners in the region and the international community to end the current crisis. Freedom of navigation is a non-negotiable issue and we reject any threats to Qatari and other ships.
