Pakistan is deploying a new radar for China's Hongqi-19 missile defense system. Satellite images have spotted a radar station in Pakistan that looks similar to the Chinese SLC-14 radar. This radar works with X-band frequency and is designed to detect and track ballistic targets at long distances. Earlier, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced an agreement with China to purchase the Hongqi-19 system, Jian-35 fighter jets and Kongjing-500 reconnaissance aircraft. Now, there is more circumstantial evidence for the implementation of this project.
