Macron on the Paris protests: I saw very young police officers who were injured, police officers who lost 14 teeth and police officers who were injured so badly that they don't know if they are still able to have children. I don't want to go into details, but there were terrible scenes.
It is my firm belief that both sides must now return to peace.
