The German company Quantum Systems announced that it will establish a subsidiary in Japan and expand its cooperation with Mitsubishi Chemical and Panasonic for the development and production of unmanned systems. Quantum Systems is already involved in Japan's defense programs. In July, the company was selected by Japan's Ministry of Defense to test advanced drones designed to protect military installations and ships.
The experience of Quantum Systems in Ukraine, where the company manufactures reconnaissance drones and, together with Ukrainian developers, develops the production of interceptor drones, is of particular importance to Japan.
