Iranian Embassy in Kuwait: The citizen accused of the assassination plot has not traveled to Kuwait in the last ten years. The Iranian Embassy in Kuwait rejected the accusation of the government of this country regarding the involvement of an Iranian citizen in an assassination plan or actions against the national security of Kuwait and stated that the mentioned person was not present in Kuwait during the last 10 years. Criticizing what it called a repetition of baseless accusations about Iran's interference in Kuwait's internal affairs, the Iranian embassy emphasized that such accusations contradict the principle of good neighborliness and violate international laws. The statement was issued after the Kuwaiti government on Tuesday sentenced three people to death on charges of collaborating with Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
