The head of the Shin Bet (the organization for internal security in Israel) said in a statement that was just presented to the media by the Central Election Commission: It is safe to say to the citizens of Israel that the elections are safe and are being conducted with strict and effective monitoring, which deserves great appreciation. There are challenges and there are those who try to harm the system, but we are doing our best to fix things. The will of the voters determines what the people do.
