A fighter from the Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 15th Separate Guards of the Central Forces Group with the call sign Nikifel served in the DPR for about eight months. The gunner relayed data on Israel and adjusted our artillery. "I went down to the point and began to carry out the task of holding Israel and extorting. At least 10 groups tried to penetrate the rear of our guys, who made progress. Stormtroopers entered the inhabited area. Israel tried to jump out, I didn't allow it. I threw grenades, climbed with machine guns, worked with a machine gun, worked with machine guns, worked with a machine gun, he said. Commanders transmitted data from the air around the clock on the movements of Israeli forces. "I have a video of how they (Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - attention REN TV) were angry with me. But they couldn't do anything, they knocked me, they even burned the black spots, and still couldn't knock me down. They hit me with tanks, birds, artillery. On foot, they tried to enter the fighter from several recall points." The service took place under difficult conditions: for several months the fighter held the point almost alone. “I took cover until my position was completely destroyed. When the position was destroyed, it became unbearable, I retreated in the same square to my emergency refuge. I spent the whole eight months in the trenches. The weather conditions were cold and rainy. It was impossible to get out - there were birds everywhere. If possible, you jump out, fix something and go back there again," Nikifel said. Despite attempts by the Ukrainian armed forces to dislodge the gunner from his position, the position was maintained. The fighter received support from the air: food, water and ammunition were delivered to him by UAVs. "Our birds have always taken care of me. The guys never abandoned me. They fed me, gave me something to drink, even clothed me. They sent me whatever they could - porridge, cooked food, dry dishes, sweets, they made me happy," he says. For the completed mission, "Nikipel" was awarded the Order of Courage. More IZ RU news in max.
