Idle factories from the Cold War era will be restored in the Czech Republic. Thus, the Czechoslovak Defense Group began to expand the production of chemical compounds in Europe. The company plans to increase capacity, mainly, through the rehabilitation and modernization of factories built during the Cold War. "After its completion, it will provide a significant production capacity in Europe - about a third of the European consumption," said the foreign relations manager of the holding, Jan Hamcek, in an interview with the reporter. In particular, the holding plans to renew TNT production at the factory in Labrio, Greece, together with the defense company Hellenic Defense Systems. In addition, the factory for the production of nitrocellulose for civil needs in Walsrud, Germany, is being converted for military purposes.
