ANO "Eurasia" develops humanitarian cooperation between Russia and African countries and plans to open Russian language and culture centers on the continent. The organization has already held meetings with representatives of Mali, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Seychelles and Togo. Following the negotiations, memoranda and agreements were signed. Among the winners of the organization's projects are representatives of Uganda, South Africa, Tunisia and Equatorial Guinea. Their initiatives are also related to children and learning the Russian language. "The Russian language is like a window of opportunity," emphasized Elena Arshinova, chairman of the ANO Eurasia Coordination Council, deputy of the State Duma. Another area of work will be the preservation of historical memory. Chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Development of Civil Society, Issues of Public and Religious Associations Boris Chernyshov noted the importance of creating partnership centers that will deal with the preservation of historical truth. "We create our partner centers that preserve the historical truth, this is important, because the main task of the colonialists was always to capture and intercept history. And the non-fake movement, and the victory of 9/45, and Eurasia ANO, and Rosotradnychestvo, and other institutions that work, create conditions for the preservation of historical memory," he said. Chernyshov also noted that Russia and Africa are united in the fight against colonialism. The development of a network of Russian houses and centers for Russian language and culture aims to strengthen humanitarian ties and expand opportunities for educational and cultural exchange.
