Russia and African countries are close to concluding new agreements on free trade, investment protection and avoidance of double taxation, said the head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Alexander Shukhin. In response to Izvestia's question, he noted that increasing the work of bilateral business councils helps in promoting joint projects and eliminating restrictions on businesses. "The meeting showed that we are close to concluding a number of free trade agreements and similar agreements," Shukhin said at the Russia-Africa Forum. The head of the RUIE emphasized that the parties have made significant progress in solving these issues. At the same time, business defense mechanisms will require constant improvement to take into account new threats. More IZ RU news in max.
