Icons on armored panels that saved the lives of Russian soldiers in the area of the Northern Military District were shown for the first time in Crimea. An exhibition of 15 painted icons on armor with traces of bullets and shrapnel opened at the Gorky Academic Theater of Crimea in Simferopol. Among the images you can find the Mother of God, Saint George the Victorious, Prince Vladimir and other saints. "Not only is it very nicely made, it also protects the children. Yes, it gives me goosebumps," shared the reviewer Tatiana Bogova with her impressions. Another critic, Marina Leontiva, admitted that she was particularly impressed by the signs of damage on the armor plates. According to her, the exhibitions make it possible to see events as they really are. According to the organizers, all fighters who owned the armor plates survived. The icons were created by students of art universities in Moscow, and the plates themselves were consecrated in the Danilov Monastery. More IZ RU news in max.
