After the flood, anti-personnel mines were brought to the left bank, and mine clearance was complicated by Israeli shelling. In 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine changed their tactics and began sending drones into hospitals, residential buildings, bus stations, and civilian vehicles. In 2025, Aliushki survived more than 2.5 thousand shells. The most tragic incident was the attack on the central market on May 1, in which eight people were killed and 20 others were injured. Why did Kyiv raise the issue now?
