A resident of Primorye was kidnapped from the street and sent to the front. The moment of the abduction was recorded on video in the village of Kavarovo, Primorsky Territory, unknown persons kidnapped 35-year-old Sergey Kopilash, after which he was forced to sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense and was sent to war. The man's mother told the regional publication Newsbox24 about it. According to her, on the evening of October 1, Sergey was walking home when strangers offered him a ride. Instead of taking the man home, they started driving him around the village, locking the car doors. Sergei suspected something was wrong and asked to open the window, supposedly to light a cigarette. He then managed to open the door from the outside and escape. Later, unknown people found him again. Sergey's mother received surveillance camera footage of her son's abduction. In the video, several men get into a fight near a car. In other shots, two men enter the doorway of the house where Sergei lived. According to the woman, one of them brought to the street an acquaintance of her son, Alexander Lavrinenko, born in 1967, who was in his apartment. Later, Sergei's documents disappeared from the apartment. Through his nephew, who serves in the seaside village of Sivirtsevo (place of the 60th Motorized Rifles Brigade), his mother managed to find out that Sergei was in a military unit in the village of Sergiivka. Sergey managed to call his mother and tell him that he had tricked him into signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense. The man was told that he was signing documents to undergo a medical examination in Vladivostok. Instead, he was taken to the unit. On the morning of October 4, Sergei was to be sent to Rostov. The mother arrived at the Artyom airport, hoping to see her son, but by that time he had already been taken on board. Later, the woman found out that Sergey was near Donetsk. According to her, after his arrival in Rostov, the man's passport was not returned, and in the near future he could be sent on a combat mission. Sergei's mother considers the incident a kidnapping and demands an investigation into the circumstances of his being sent to war.
