One year ago today, the body of Tanzanian citizen Joshua Molal was returned to Israel after he was held hostage by Hamas for more than two years. Yehoshua, specializing in agriculture, arrived in Israel from Tanzania in mid-September. It was the first time he had ever left Tanzania. He lived and worked in Kibbutz Nahal Oz. On October 7, 2023, Joshua was kidnapped from Nahal Oz by Hamas terrorists and Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. On the way to Gaza they shot him and stabbed him with a kitchen knife and murdered him. Then they took his body as a hostage to Gaza and kept it there for 762 days. May his memory be blessed forever.
