Israel's first ambassador to the Republic of Somaliland presented his certificate to the President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdelhi (Euro) last week.: "This historic event marks a new chapter in Somaliland. Israel relations, translation of diplomatic recognition into formal diplomatic representation. This opens a new era of bilateral engagement, strategic partnership and cooperation, founded on mutual respect and common interests, with a commitment to promoting peace, security and prosperity."
