UPI ALL TIME HIGH WITH 2,547 CRORE TRANSACTIONS IN OCTOBER! India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) recorded a record 2,547 transactions worth Rs 31.53 lakh crore in October 2026, according to NPCI data. The volume of transactions increased by 23% year-on-year, while the value of the transaction jumped by 16%. UPI processed an average of 82.2 million transactions worth Rs 1.01 crore daily, crossing the milestone of 1 lakh daily transactions for the first time. The monthly transaction volume also grew by 5.8% compared to September.
