Long live the journalists.
The intellectuals of the world signed the statement of two Iranian journalists in defense of the Iranian nation at a time when extortionists camped on the X network (formerly Twitter), fake writers took over Telegram, and yellow writers turned Instagram into their Golan Square, and it seems that Iran's civil society is asleep, there are still journalists who work quietly and modestly to keep the meaning of journalism alive. Karim Nikonzer and Rojin Hosseini, two Iranian journalists, instead of joining the endless debates of cyberspace, wrote a letter to intellectuals, writers, artists and academics in the world and asked them to be the voice of the Iranian people; People surrounded by sea, land and air and facing difficulty in meeting the basic needs of life, from medicine and fuel to food. In a clear demand, they emphasized that the blockade of Iran must be broken and the price of the war must not be paid. This call was accompanied by the response of 35 world-famous figures in the field of art, literature, cinema and the university. The signatories, while expressing concern about the shortage of food, medicine, fuel and other basic needs in Iran, asked the parties involved to respect international humanitarian law and ensure access of people in need of humanitarian assistance. This statement was published two days ago with the title "People should not pay the price of war" in the French newspaper "Le Monde", and today the newspaper Sazendagi published this statement with the explanations of Karim Nikonzer and Rozin Hosseini under the title "Opposition to the blockade of Iran".
