Saving the life of a 3-year-old boy with a 15-year-old umbilical cord blood transplant.
Nasim Azati, head of the Cord Blood Group at the Blood Transfusion Organization, said: A unit of donated cord blood, which was stored 15 years ago in the general bank of the Blood Transfusion Organization, gave a new life to a three-year-old boy suffering from a rare Yemeni defect through a successful transplant.
