CNG fuel for taxis has become free in Shiraz.
The Shiraz CNG taxi fleet is provided free of charge by the city administration with the support of the city's Salami Council and by order of the mayor, an approach that, according to the head of the Shiraz Municipality's passenger transport management organization, is consistent with supporting drivers' livelihoods and strengthening public transportation infrastructure.
