The veteran journalist Asgar Zerbi is dead.

The veteran journalist and literary critic Asgar Zerbi passed away, and the Deputy for Communications and Publicity of the Ministry of Culture and Guidance Salami also expressed his condolences in a statement.

Zarabi, one of the well-known figures of the Iranian press in the 1940s and 1950s, challenged the intellectuals in his interviews with a questioning look and bold words.

🔹 His interviews with Bahram Sadagi, Jalal Al-Ahmed, Ahmed Shamlo and Furukh Farooqzad are among the most enduring and unforgettable interviews. Some of these interviews were later published in the book "Asgar Zerbi Discussion Collection".
